He watches you leave to work in the morning and greet you back in the evening. During the night, this loyal guard still accompanies you quietly: you sleep inside the room, he stares eyes big in the darkness.

He doesn’t eat, drink, he never bothers you, bothers anybody, he only needs some battery.
This equipment looks simple, yet it contains a lot of technological intelligence：

1/3 inch Sony Super HAD CCD Image Sensor, 600TV Line Horizontal Resolution, Effective Pixels: PAL: 795(H)x596(V), NTSC: 811(H)x508(V)，the films it takes has high deficiency.

Built-in auto gain control(AGC) circuit, 2D-DNR, WDR, the color camera can get high definition picture in low illumination condition.
You can choose the following functions on & off to your need: Motion Detection .Parking line，Control AES ，Control AGC，Control BLC，Control Mirror, which is very flexible.

This is our Inesun Security Camera, we have various models for your selection. Today my special recommendation is our model No : INS-WPIR02600TVL, which includes all the functions I mentioned above.

It is like a book lying there, in the gentle wind afternoon, on the sandalwood table under the window, beside the armchair, with a tranquil sense.

Gaming peripherals maker Razer has produced two special edition versions of its Naga gaming mouse, including the Razer Naga Maelstrom and the Razer Naga Molten. The mice have 17 MMO-optimized buttons with macro functionality, just like the original. The Maelstrom gets blue light for a custom effect.

The Molten Special Edition retains the same functionality, but with a different design and lighting in a fiery red hue.

The mice have a 5,600dpi laser sensor and the USB controller has a unique 12-button pad on the side, in addition to the common five-button layout found on most mice.

Either mouse ships in November for $80, with pre-orders starting on October 12.

When Apple had a probe of the Congress of privacy conducted in July, the company said it could actually maintain an iPhone, especially in real time, that their activities are limited and uncertain context,. Bucknell University Network Manager Eric Smith, but the theory that it is not, application developers and third-party advertisers the same defenses, and can the unit with the name (and site) to connect the name, find the data. Smith, a champion checked twice wardriving DefCon to see 57 applications major in the iTunes App Store, which sent her and found that some details of the iPhone by UDID personnel and text (which can be intercepted obviously), like Amazon, Chase Bank, Target and Sam Club, although some are secured by SSL. Although UDID often used by applications to personal information and combat piracy, the Smith is a database that could be established between the GPS coordinates or GeoIP UDID and provides people with malicious or organizations know where fears. It is a frightening thought, but directly in front of the hatred of Apple, Cupertino is important to note that this is not necessarily the sole culprit. IOS is without doubt the best to force users to opt-in for applications, the GPS track, transmission and account information along UDID public completely against the rules, and we like to think that if the users personally identifiable data give an application developer, first of all, they understand what they do. Of course each user should be more control and clear communication of personal data is of course a big no-no. Smith’s piece opens and closes with the idea that Apple as a unique identifier for Intel Pentium III, where the protection is around the turn of the century fear UDID, and we question whether the history of HRT, the same way to play – following questions from the government, Intel is a utility software that people to chip a unique identification allows manually disable, CPU and removed in the future.

Current Mood: Cool

From:http://www.electronista.com/

Dell’s namesake chief Michael Dell confirmed [sub. required] the company’s 7-inch Looking Glass tablet today at Oracle’s conference. He didn’t provide more details other than to say it would run Android like the Streak. Dell also didn’t mention ship dates and other details.

Leaks have the Looking Glass being faster than the Streak and would use a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 250 processor capable of driving 1080p video, although it may still have the same 800×480 resolution. Dell might count on TV tie-ins to sell the larger tablet, as it might have an ATSC tuner for over-the-air HD and may have AT&T endorsement for streaming TV to U-verse customers. It was originally due to ship with Android 2.1 but will almost certainly have moved to 2.2 or later.

An early roadmap shot had the tablet arriving by the end of the year, though delays in the Streak may have pushed that back further. A 10-inch model was also part of that roadmap and would show in early 2011.

The device may be Dell’s first direct competition with the iPad. Although considered a tablet due to its unpocketable size, the Streak is considered by some to be a crossover since it’s small enough to work as a phone and even supports cellular voice. At $549, it has struggled to get as much recognition since it costs more than the $499 iPad, albeit with built-in 3G and dual cameras.

The CEO also mentioned that the Streak should be available in retail for the first time with a presence at Best Buy as of next month. [image via Reuters]

Curious designed to get your hands on Stefano Giovannoni getting the house AlessiTab first compressed announced in April? So it seems we have to wait a little longer, and pay a little more money than expected. Depending on the design of the spring, the device is ready to launched in Italy later in November (instead of this month), and run 399, or about $ 535 (鈧?100 total planned). Otherwise, the tablet-based Android will be the 2.1 Direct, before we have seen, including a capacitive touch screen at 10.1 inches, a DVB-T tuner for digital television, integrated WiFi and a webcam for video calls. The absence, however, access to Android Market, but promises Alessi, who will offer a selection of their own applications designed specifically for the home.

1. Black/White or Color?

Color Cameras are more popular, due to their clearer identifications. But, in low light conditions, B/W cameras are more ideal, because they generally require less illumination. Newer models of Day/Night cameras work as color camera during daytime and B/W at night.

2. What basic equipments are necessary to start video surveillance?

Camera body, Lens, Mount, Cable, and Power Supply.

Some cameras (like dome and bullet type cameras) come with built-in lenses. You will also need CCTV monitor (or regular TV), quad splitter or switcher to combine more than one camera, recorder (like DVR), outdoor housing case and other accessories. Wireless systems are great way to avoid cabling. Network based Web Cameras and DVRs are for remote surveillance.

3. What if I need more than one camera?

A quad splitter, 4 channel or 8 channel switcher, or multiplexer can be used to combine multiple cameras into one monitor or recorder. DVRs usually come with a built-in multiplexer.

4. Hidden Cameras

If you want a hidden camera, you have two options; you can either build one with a mini or an ultra-mini camera, or buy one. Some ultra-mini cameras are only as big as a quarter to hide more easily. Hidden cameras built-in clocks, radios, or smoke detectors are also available but are generally more costly. Please note that, in most US states, using hidden cameras with audio in a covert way is prohibited.

5. Placing cameras outdoors

You may use an outdoor housing case, with or without heater and/or blower. The heater and/or blower built-in housing cases generally require a separate power source. Some cameras are made water resistant and do not need separate housing cases. Some of these also come with removable sunshields.

6. When are infrared cameras necessary?

Economically commercialized infrared cameras, some also water-resistant to be installed outdoor, can see up to 40 to 80ft distance in total darkness. You may also use infrared illuminators, which can illuminate up to 100ft (Color cameras, unless their IR filter is removed, do not work with infrared illuminators.) Infrared cameras work as ordinary video camera during daytime. Color infrared cameras work as B/W ones at night.

7. What is an ideal angle for a lens to cover?

Widely used and recommended angle of view of the lens for surveillance purpose is 72o to 78o. Narrower will give you clearer pictures. Wide angles like 92o can cover more area but it may show distorted pictures.

8. Vari-focal vs. Zoom Lens

Focal length and focusing for vari-focal lens should be adjusted respectively while zoom lens focuses automatically when the focal length is adjusted. Manual zoom lens needs to be manually adjusted while motorized zoom lens can be controlled with a remote controller.

9. Manual Iris vs. Auto Iris

If the lighting condition changes significantly and frequently, like the sun, an auto iris lens is required. If the lighting remains same, a manual iris or a fixed iris lens is recommended. Most CCTV cameras accept DC auto iris lens while some special cameras use video auto iris lens.

10. Do I need pinhole lens?

A pinhole lens with a tiny opening can be hidden in the wall, ceiling or other objects. Some mini cameras have a built-in pinhole lens. To mount a pinhole lens to a standard camera is very expensive.

11. CCTV Monitor vs. Standard TV

If you are use only one camera, a TV (which has a RCA video input) is definitely recommended. Even for more than 1 camera, if you use a processor like a quad splitter, a switcher, or a DVR (Digital Video Recorder), a TV would be fine. But, for special features like slave video outputs (to be connected to additional monitors), alarm systems, or for multiple inputs, professional CCTV monitors work best.

12. CRT vs. LCD Monitor

Conventional CRT monitors are bulky and heavy while they are cheaper than LCD monitors which has higher resolution. If you have enough budgets and want to use one monitor for both CCTV and computer, LCD monitor is recommended. 17″ & 19″ are popular sizes for LCD monitors.

13. Monitor Input Connectors

BNC is commonly used for connecting to both CRT and LCD monitors. These days, most LCD monitors have an S-Video input as well as a 15-pin Mini D-Sub for PC Signal input.

14. Wireless vs. Wired Transmission

A wireless system is convenient in avoid cabling works, but can sometimes be affected by high voltage power lines, unseen razor waves, large machines like lathes, and metal walls. Wired transmission guarantees stable video. Coaxial cable is most used for CCTV cameras.

15. 12VDC vs. 24VAC

24VAC system is more professional and most CCTV cameras work with a 24VAC power supply. Mini cameras, dome cameras, and bullet type cameras are usually 12VDC system. Recently developed cameras have both 12VDC and 24VAC inputs.

16. Battery operated cameras

Many small sized cameras work with 12VDC battery pack; however it requires correctly matched polarity. You may also use a “power cord” (easily found at any auto parts shop) that can draw 12VDC through the car cigarette lighter.

17. Motion detection

Most DVRs now come with built-in motion detection software to trigger recording. You can program the sensitivity and detection zone. It works with any change of the pixels within the picture frame. You can also install a hardware motion detector connected to the DVRs to trigger recording.

18. Pan, Tilt, and Zoom control

A dome type camera that already has built-in PTZ is easy to install, maintain, and control. You can also control it on the computer monitor with the mouse if the PTZ system is connected on the network via a video server.

19. Time Lapse VCR vs. DVR(Digital Video Recorder)

Conventional Time Lapse VCR, despite the inconvenience in reviewing the recorded pictures, is more economical than a DVR (Digital Video Recorder). DVRs are more popular for its convenience and picture quality.

20. Remote Surveillance over the Network

Network DVR or Web Camera, connected to the Internet or LAN and assigned with an IP address, can be monitored at a remote place. DSL or T-1 line is required to be connected to the Internet.

21. HD CCTV System

As the TV Broadcasting changed to HD (High Definition) System, it’s time for HD cameras to come to the market. Still, the traditional standard resolution system does not accept HD cameras and you have homework to prepare peripheral devices such as recorders to accept the HD cameras.

Security Camera King stocks a vast selection of home security cameras and home security camera systems at discount prices. If you’re unfamiliar with today’s digital video home security camera, read on for some information about the way they work, the different types, and some of their features.

The type of home security camera marketed today is the digital video camera. These cameras are light-weight, powerful electronic cameras that deliver the video image in a digital form. Older models of home security camera were heavy, bulky analog cameras that had less features than today’s camera.

A digital video home security camera works by transferring light energy into electrical energy. The electrical energy can be quantified or measured and used to construct a digital video image. Digital video is actually several digital photographs taken very rapidly (on average around 30 photographs per second) in succession. The rate at which the camera operates is often referred to as “fames per second” or fps.

A digital video home security camera captures a video image and sends it to a processor/DVR or Digital Video Recorder. This unit creates a digital video file that can be viewed instantly on a monitor or saved on the DVR for later use.

Digital video cameras use one of two different sensor chips to create the video image: A Charged coupled Device or CCD or a Complimentary Metal Oxide Semiconductor or CMOS. These chips range from about ¼ inch to about 1 inch in size. Usually, a larger chip produces a higher resolution picture (and the cost of the camera is higher also.)

Depending on the camera type and your use, you may also need to purchase lenses for your camera. Lenses are sold based on focal length which is normally stated in millimeters. A long focal length is needed for a greater distance to the target. Check out our CCTV Lens Calculator in the CCTV Learning Center for more information.

There are three main types of home security camera based on shape. Box cameras are normally used indoors unless they are placed in a protective cover for outdoor use. Box cameras are fairly obvious so that may or may not be a benefit. Bullet cameras are normally weatherproofed for outdoor use, but they are also indoor/outdoor models. Bullet cameras can also be somewhat obtrusive. Dome cameras are one of the more popular home security camera types. They can be flush mounted with only the dome protruding from the wall or ceiling. These are probably the less conspicuous style of camera and one of the most popular.

Digital video home security cameras are connected to the DVR by an RG-59 coaxial cable or similar cable. Each camera must have this cable run from the camera location to the location of the DVR. In addition, a power supply wire must be run from a wall transformer or power distribution box to each camera.

If you need to mount your cameras where running these wires could be a problem, you may want to consider a wireless camera that can utilize rechargeable batteries. Wireless cameras with motion detectors can enhance your system even more by conserving on battery power.

Another type of home security camera that is very popular is the baby monitor camera. This camera is usually a night vision infrared camera and a monitor. The systems may or may not be wireless. Infrared cameras use infrared Light Emitting Diodes or LEDs to illuminate their target area. This light can be seen by the camera sensor but is invisible to the human eye so you can monitor your baby all night long without disturbing him or her.

There are several features or options that are available for home security cameras. Some cameras may come standard with these features while others are considered an additional option. Here is a partial list of some of these features:
• Audio recording
• Day/night vision camera
• IP or Internet Protocol ready (these can be networked using a simple broadband internet connection) cameras
• Pan-Tilt-Zoom or PTZ cameras
• Hidden or disguised cameras (cameras are built into common, everyday objects to disguise them for covert monitoring – great for use as nanny cams)

Now that you have an idea of how a home security camera works, the different types that are available, and some of their versatile features, check out our stock of home security cameras and home security camera systems.
